WB Madhyamik Exams From Today: Siliguri Metropolitan Police set up 25 Help Desks for students

Siliguri, 07th March: Today, along with the entire state, the West Bengal Board’s (WBBSE) Madhyamik or Class 10 final exams commenced. Abiding by all covid protocols, the students reached their respective centres with their admit card in hand to take the secondary examination. 
This year, a total of 11,18,821 students have registered for the exam, which includes 6,21,931 girls and 4,96,890 boys. This will be the first since 2020 that the state board is conducting Class 10 final exams, as exams for the 2021 batch had to be cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. 
To help the students reach the centres without any hassle, for the very first time, the Siliguri Metropolitan Police took the initiative to set up a total of 25 ‘help desks’ across the city.
Will be able to solve it. Apart from this, along with various police stations, the higher officials of the metropolitan will also inspect each examination centre regarding the secondary examination. The police are keeping an eye on the examination centres to ensure that there is no disturbance in any way. Highly placed officers are inspecting the examination centres on an hourly basis.
Today, on the first day of the secondary examination, Siliguri Police Commissioner Gaurav Sharma inspected the examination centres. During the visit, the commissioner instructed the officers to ensure the examination is conducted peacefully. In addition to this, special attention is also being given to the traffic system in the city so that the students do not face any inconvenience while commuting to their examination centres.
