Siliguri, 20th January: On Saturday, a grand procession marked the beginning of Ward Utsav ‘Ushashi’ of Ward No. 19 in Siliguri. The grand procession was carried out from the premises of the Sanghashree Club and circumambulated various areas of the ward.
According to reports, the ward festival has commenced with the cooperation of Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC) and under the initiative of Ward No. 19 Utsav Committee. In addition to the procession, various sports competitions, women’s cooking competitions, and cultural programs are scheduled to be organized from January 20 to 26.
