Siliguri, 19th January: A grand procession marked the beginning of Ward Utsav ‘Maitri 2024’ of Ward No. 26 of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC)
According to reports, on Friday, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar officially inaugurated the ward festival. During the occasion, MMIC Manik Dey, Ward No. 21 Councillor Kuntal Roy, Councillor of Ward No. 26 Sikta Dey Basu Roy, and other officials were present. During the procession, the children actively participated wearing various fancy costumes.
