Siliguri, 20th January: The Ward Utsav ‘Geetanjali’ of Siliguri’s Ward No. 11 commenced with a grand procession. During the occasion, Ward Councillor Manjushree Paul, former Councillor Nantu Paul, Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh, Ward No. 9 Councillor Amit Jain, and others were present.
Reportedly, the festival is scheduled to continue till January 28. The procession circumambulated various areas of the entire ward on this day. In addition to the procession, various sports competitions and cultural programs would be organized.
