Siliguri, 11th January: Ward festival ‘Unmesh 2023’ has commenced today under the aegis of the Ward No. 17 committee of Siliguri. Ward festival started this morning with a grand procession with Dhak and Dhol.
The said procession was taken out from the Siliguri College ground which circumambulated various areas. Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb inaugurated the Ward Utsav by hoisting the flag and releasing the balloon. Ward Councilor Milli Sinha along with the Mayor-Councilor of SMC were present in the said procession. Along with this, children from different schools also participated in the said procession.
