Vegetable vendor dies after being hit by a bike on Sahudangi-Ambari Road

Rajganj, 20th September: In a tragic incident, a vegetable seller lost his life after being hit by a bike on the Sahudangi-Ambari state road. The deceased has been identified as Dulal Acharya (55), a resident of Business Colony, Ambari. The incident left his elderly mother distraught after losing the sole breadwinner of the family.


According to local sources, Dulal Acharya was survived by his mother. He supported the family’s expenses by selling vegetables in the local market. On Tuesday night, Dulal was returning home on his bicycle after purchasing vegetables from Sahudangi market. During this, a two-wheeler rammed into his bicycle from behind due to which he fell on the road. After the incident, the biker abandoned his vehicle and fled from the scene.

Upon receiving the news, the police of Ambari Outpost arrived at the spot and rescued Dulal. Subsequently, he was transported to Rajganj Rural Hospital, however, the doctors declared him dead. Meanwhile, the police took the bike in possession and initiated an investigation into the entire incident.
