Various programs organized by Siliguri Metropolitan Police to commemorate Police Day

It is to be noted that many front liners like policemen have sacrificed so much while they were working day and night to create awareness among the people during the Covid pandemic. Many even lost their lives and every policeman was working on the ground leaving aside the worries of their own family just so as to fight the virus and keep society safe.

In view of the selfless service of the police, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had announced to celebrate September 01 of the year 2020 as Police Day. Today the state and the city are witnessing the celebration of the heroes of our society.
