Siliguri, 24th August: A vaccination camp was organized in Harijan Basti of Ward No. 14 on behalf of Uttar Banga Safai Karmachari Samiti and with the assistance of Siliguri Municipal Corporation. SMC administrator Goutam Deb inaugurated the camp today.
It is learned that around 200 cleaning staff were given the first dose of COVID vaccine at the camp. Shivprasad Dhela, vice-president of the Uttar Banga Safai Karmachari Samiti, said that an appeal was made to SMC on behalf of the association for the vaccination drive. Following which, the camp was organized.
