January 06, Rajganj: The Rajganj Block Committee of Uttarbanga Khourokar Shil Samannay Samiti submitted a two-point memorandum at the Rajganj BDO office, on Thursday.
Demands such as to pay a monthly allowance of Rs 12,000 to the barbers and also to form a Barber Board were presented through the memorandum.
On behalf of the organization, Babul Sil stated ” The government has instructed on the closure of all salons in the state. So today we submitted a memorandum to the BDO in support of some demands. If our demands are not met then we will stop providing all services in the future.”
