Union Minister of State for Education Subhas Sarkar on North Bengal tour took a dig at the state’s TET issue

Siliguri, 19th November: Union Minister of State for Education Subhas Sarkar, during his visit to Siliguri and North Bengal, expressed anguish over the state’s TET issue. While addressing the media after arriving at Bagdogra Airport from Delhi, the minister said West Bengal is like a den of corruption. “Wherever you hit, corruption will emerge,” he added. 


The minister further stated that the people of West Bengal want to expose the corruption that is crippling society. It is because of this corruption that some ministers and leaders of the state government are in jail, Sarkar also added. 

Apart from this, regarding the arrest warrant issued against BJP’s Union Minister of State for Home Nisith Pramanik and Union Minister of State for Minorities John Barla, he called the issue to be nothing but a “drama”.
