Islampur, 06th August: Sensation prevailed after the body of an unidentified woman was recovered in the Aliganj area of Islampur police station in Uttar Dinajpur district, on Thursday night.
The locals spotted the body along the railway line in the said area. Upon receiving the news, the railway officials and Islampur police rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation.
Police suspected that the woman must have died after being hit by a train. Police recovered the body and sent it to Islampur Hospital for an autopsy
