Fulbari, 16th November: A heart-wrenching incident came to the fore after the lifeless body of an unidentified woman was recovered from Fulbari. The deceased body was found near a sewer canal in the Changrabandha area under Fulbari-II Gram Panchayat.
According to reports, the locals spotted the body lying near a roadside canal and immediately informed the New Jalpaiguri (NJP) police station. Upon learning of the incident, the police reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it for a post-mortem examination. While the police were engaged in a detailed investigation of the entire incident, locals speculated that the woman was mentally challenged. In addition, the woman was previously never seen in the area.
