Siliguri, 15th July: The Ulta Rath Yatra was celebrated in Siliguri, marking the return of Lord Jagannath, Balaram, and Subhadra to the ISKCON temple from their aunt’s house. This year, the aunt’s house was set up at Suryanagar ground in Siliguri, where Puja and various events were held over seven days.
On Monday, the Ulta Rath Yatra procession began, drawing many devotees. The chariot carrying the deities paraded through various streets of the city before finally entering the ISKCON temple.
