Lataguri, 13th July: On Aranya Saptaha, the Manab Kalyan Social Welfare Organization and Vivekananda Yuva Social Welfare Organization distributed saplings from door-to-door in the Lataguri North Jhar Matiali area. The two voluntary organizations promoted greenery and urged all to get rid of plastics.
Shubhadeep Majumder, secretary of Vivekananda Yuva Social Welfare Organization, said, “We should all create a healthy environment by planting trees.”
On the other hand, Udayan Majumder, secretary of Manab Kalyan Social Welfare Organization, said that apart from distributing saplings, a message was given to all for creating a plastic-free environment.
