Rajganj, 13th August: The BJP Yuva Morcha organised a Tiranga Yatra in Ambari, Rajganj, on Thursday ahead of Independence Day.
The Tiranga Yatra began from Ambari’s Anchal More and covered several kilometres before passing through Post Office More and returning to Anchal More, where it concluded. BJP workers and supporters participated in the rally carrying the national flag.
The area echoed with patriotic songs and slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ during the rally.
As part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, the BJP also distributed national flags among residents in Ambari. BJP leader Tapan Roy handed over national flags to party workers during the programme.
According to the BJP, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is being observed across the country from August 9 ahead of Independence Day. The Tiranga Yatra and national flag distribution programme were organised as part of the campaign.
Rajganj BJP Uttar Mandal President Arjun Mondal, Kisan Morcha district president Nakul Das, Siddhartha Pandit, Udaygiri Roy, Dhananjay Mallick, Tapan Roy and Ajay Adhikari, among others, were present at the programme.
