Siliguri, 01st April: Two people have been injured in a head-on collision between two trucks on Thursday late night. The incident took place in front of a petrol pump under Bhaktinagar police station in Siliguri.
It has been learned that as a result of the head-on collision, the trucks overturned and the two got stuck inside. After the incident, the locals rushed to the spot, rescued them, and sent them to the hospital. The truck drivers are absconding since the incident.
Meanwhile, the Bhaktinagar police reached the spot after receiving the news. The vehicles were recovered with the help of a crane and taken to the police station. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
