Siliguri, 19th February: In a significant breakthrough, the cops of Bhakti Nagar police station recovered a stolen e-rickshaw (toto) within 24 hours. In addition, two individuals were arrested in connection to the case. The arrested accused have been identified as MD Tahir alias Chhotu and MD Akhtar, both residents of an area under the Pradhan Nagar police station.
As per the information received, a toto was stolen from the Shaheed Nagar area on Sunday. After the incident, a written complaint was lodged at the Bhakti Nagar police station. During the investigation based on the complaint, the undercover cops of Bhakti Nagar police station recovered the stolen toto from the Asraf Nagar area within 24 hours and arrested two individuals on charges of theft. On Monday, the accused have been produced before the Jalpaiguri court, while further investigation is underway.
