Naxalbari, 15th January: The Naxalbari police officials have successfully arrested two individuals with a substantial quantity of brown sugar in the Lalpool area of Naxalbari. The accused have been identified as Mohammad Aslam and Mohammad Azhar, both residents of Totaram Jote in Naxalbari.
According to reports, acting on a tip-off, the police launched an operation and held two with a scooty at the said area based on suspicion. During the search, the officials recovered 204 grams of brown sugar from the accused. Subsequently, the accused miscreants were arrested. On Monday, the arrested accused have been produced before the Siliguri Court. At present, the entire incident is under further police investigation.
