Siliguri, 07th February: The undercover cops of Siliguri Metropolitan Police’s Pradhan Nagar police station arrested two people carrying silver ornaments worth lakhs of rupees to Bihar without valid documents.
The arrested accused have been identified as Keshav Kumar Sharma (27) and Shivam Soni (26), residents of Bankim Nagar under Bhaktinagar police station and Agra respectively.
Reportedly, last night acting on suspicion, the police of Pradhan Nagar police station caught Keshav and Shivam at the Bihar bus stand located at Junction. When the bags of both were searched, 21 kg of silver ornaments were recovered from their possession. On failing to provide valid documentation, both were arrested by the Pradhan Nagar police station. Today both the accused have been produced in the Siliguri court.
