Cooch Behar, 09th November: Tufanganj Police launched an operation against cannabis cultivation.
Reportedly, the cannabis was being cultivated in 11 bighas of land in the Chankadora area of Balarampur 1 and 2-gram panchayats of Tufanganj No. 1 block.
In the presence of the magistrate of Tufanganj, a raid was carried out in the said area and a lot of cannabis plants were destroyed from different houses and lands.
