Siliguri, 11th March: Bhaktinagar police recovered a stolen truck in Sikkim. One person identified as Rohit Alam was arrested in the incident.
According to police sources, a truck carrying goods worth lakhs went missing on February 08 from the Salugara area under Bhaktinagar police station. The truck owner then lodged a written complaint at Bhaktinagar police station. Police launched an investigation and recovered the truck from Melli in Sikkim last night. The driver’s associate was arrested in the incident.
He has been sent to Jalpaiguri court today. Police have started searching for the truck driver.
