Siliguri, 14th March: Police arrested a truck driver, who had allegedly killed his associate driver accidentally in the Fulbari truck terminal.
According to police sources, a truck driver, identified as Sandeep Saha, and his associate driver, identified as Sanjiv Bagdi, were trying to start their truck but due to some malfunction, the truck did not start. Sanjiv went below the truck to fix the engine. when the truck suddenly started and rolled over the associate driver, killing him on the spot. The truck driver allegedly fled away from the scene.
However. the family members of the deceased filed a complaint at the police station, based on which the NJP Police arrested Sandeep Saha from Murshidabad. The accused was was presented at the Jalpaiguri court, today.
