Siliguri, 08th December: The Darjeeling District Trinamool Mahila Congress took out a protest rally in Siliguri by blowing conch shells against the state bifurcation of Bengal. State Health Minister Chandrima Bhattacharya participated in the said rally.
The said conch shell protest rally was taken out today from Sevoke More and concluded at Hashmi Chowk after circumambulating various roads of the city. Today Trinamool leaders called for unity against the partition of Bengal.
After the rally concluded at Hashmi Chowk, a road meeting was organized. At the end of the meeting, Chandrima Bhattacharya said that through the said rally, they want to give a message to stay away from wrong efforts to the ones who support the partition of Bengal.
