Siliguri, 02nd April: The Trinamool Mahila Congress organized a ‘Karmi Sabha’ in Siliguri in support of TMC candidate Gopal Lama from the Darjeeling Lok Sabha constituency.
According to reports, women voters constitute approximately 49 percent of the electorate in the state. Trinamool Mahila Congress is actively campaigning in the state’s Lok Sabha elections this year, focusing on the attention of the state’s four crore women voters.
On Tuesday, Trinamool Mahila Congress State President Chandrima Bhattacharya held a meeting with hundreds of women workers, booth-level presidents, and district leaders at the election office of the Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress.
Additionally, Bhattacharya campaigned door-to-door with the slogan “Aamar Boothe Aami Sathe” and outlined the campaign strategy. During this, Darjeeling district Trinamool Congress president Papiya Ghosh, Trinamool Mahila Congress leader Sushmita Bose Mitra, and other prominent figures were in attendance.
