Rajganj, 03rd May: The Trinamool leaders and activists of Rajganj block demanded that Trinamool candidate Khageshwar Roy who has won the Bengal assembly election from the Rajganj Assembly constituency, should be given the position of a minister.
It is to be noted that Khageshwar Roy has been elected as the Trinamool MLA for the fourth time in a row even before the party had come to power in the state. On Monday morning, the party leaders and activists felicitated him.
Trinamool leaders Moksed Alam and Nitai Kar said that the people of Rajganj voted for Roy the fourth time as they were satisfied with the overall development and overall work of Khageshwar Roy. ‘We want Roy to be given the position of a minister of a good department.’, they said.
Khageshwar Roy said, ‘People have voted for me for the continuous developmental work done by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. However, the party’s supremo Mamata Banerjee will decide who will be given the position of a minister.’
