Trinamool Congress leader shot dead by bike-borne miscreants in Rajganj

Rajganj, 23rd November: Trinamool leader Saleman Mohammad who was shot by two bike-borne miscreants, on Sunday evening, succumbed to his injuries at North Bengal Medical College and Hospital around 6 am on Tuesday. He was a resident of the Balaram Haat area in Rajganj.


Incidentally, Saleman Mohammad and a lottery seller named Tapan Prasad were at a lottery shop near Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway in the Bhutkihat area of ​​Rajganj, on Sunday evening. Allegedly, two miscreants on a motorcycle fired bullets at Saleman and fled away. The bullet then hit Tapan Prasad Mahato’s shoulder. The injured Trinamool leader was admitted to a private hospital in Siliguri. Later he was shifted to NBMCH, where he succumbed to his injuries today.

Jamal Mohammad, brother of the deceased, said that the body will be taken to the Bhutkihaat area, where the party workers will pay their last respects.
