Jalpaiguri, 15th November: A tragic road accident occurred on Teesta bridge near Balapara in Jalpaiguri on Friday night around 11 p.m., when a bike collided with a pickup van.
Three riders were thrown off in the impact. Two of them were taken to Jalpaiguri Medical College Super Speciality Hospital, where doctors declared them dead.
The third person went missing after the accident and was later found dead in the river beneath Teesta bridge on Saturday morning. Police are investigating the incident.
