Fulbari, 17th February: In a recent development, the officials of the Fulbari Highway Traffic Outpost conducted raids in several locations in an effort to lift the encroachment of road space with store items.
According to reports, the roadside areas of Fulbari supermarket are seen swarming with store items kept on display. Shopkeepers and traders set their items outside the shops occupying a significant portion of the road. As a result, the road is gradually narrowed leading to frequent accidents and traffic congestion.
Compounding the issue, automobiles including cars, passenger vans, and two-wheelers are seen parked all over the roadside of the national highway. On Saturday, the traffic police launched an operation to clear the road space of any possible encroachment.
