Bagdogra, 15th December: The cops of Bagdogra police station seized a sand-laden tractor on charges of mining sand illegally, in an area near Bagdogra’s Bihar More. However, upon sensing the police presence, the tractor driver fled from the scene.
According to police sources, acting on a tip-off, the cops of Bagdogra police station were patrolling the area near Bihar More. During this, the driver abandoned the loaded tractor in the Tarbandha area of Bagdogra and fled from the scene. Significantly, the police seized the vehicle utilized in the illegal activity. Currently, the police are engaged in further investigation.
