Total of 15 fake candidates appearing for W.B.P Recruitment exams arrested in Siliguri

Siliguri, 23rd May: In the recent development, a total of fifteen fake candidates were arrested during a written examination for the post of constable of West Bengal Police Recruitment Board 2020 which took place in Siliguri Deshbandhu Hindi High School, on Sunday. 
Reportedly, within minutes of the commencement of the examination, a heated dispute erupted between two examinees. When the police intervened, imposters posing as candidates were revealed. A total of nine fake examinees were arrested immediately. The accused have been identified as  Pawan Kumar, Santu Kumar, Naveen Kumar, Ashif Kumar, Dharmendra Kumar, Raju Chandra Roy, Sanjit Chandra Roy, Suraj Kumar, and Amit Kumar.
On the other hand, the police of Matigara police station arrested six more fake examinees. The arrested have been identified as Umesh Singh, Amal Barman, Rakesh Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Rupesh Kumar, and Ramanand Kumar. Police of Pradhan Nagar and Matigara police station presented the fifteen accused arrested under IPC 419/420/468/417/120B in Siliguri court today. The police have appealed for the remand of the accused from the court for further investigation. The Metropolitan Police are probing the whole matter.
