TMC workers blocked road alleging BJP of torching TMC’s party flag in Tufanganj

Cooch Behar, 27th February: TMC has been alleging the BJP of tearing and torching party flags of TMC in the night. On Monday, TMC blocked the road demanding the arrest of the culprits in the said incident. The incident has surfaced from the Ghogarkuthi Kalibari area of Tufanganj Block No. 1 Chilakhana No. 2 Gram Panchayat. 


 

The TMC alleged that the party flag of the Trinamool Congress office was torn and set on fire. Making the said allegation against the BJP, the TMC has taken out a rally in the area. After this, Trinamool Congress workers protested by blocking the national highway. 


 

However, as soon after getting the news of the incident, Tufanganj police reached the spot and recovered the burnt Trinamool Party flag and took it to the police station. On the other hand, the BJP has rejected all the allegations.
