Naxalbari, 13th March: On Wednesday, Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers initiated a wall-writing campaign at the Naxalbari station in support of TMC candidate Gopal Lama in the Darjeeling Lok Sabha constituency. Significantly, Sabhadhipati Arun Ghosh of the Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad, also joined the party members and contributed to the campaign.
According to reports, the campaign witnessed the presence of Naxalbari Block No.2 Chairman Prithvish Roy, TMYC vice-chairman Biraj Sarkar, and others.
In this regard, Sabhadhipati Arun Ghosh promised that the citizens would benefit from the development within the state. He further asserted that the BJP’s deception under false promises will be countered by people’s decision on development across the state. He highlighted that the major political parties including the BJP, Congress, and CPIM are yet to announce their candidates, eventually positioning TMC at the forefront of the campaign.
