Rajganj, 03rd December: TMC organized a protest rally at Belakoba in Rajganj against various issues including the alleged conspiracy of partition of Bengal, and the rise in petroleum products. The rally commenced from Belakoba College More of Rajganj and concluded at Shikarpur regulated market after circumambulating various roads. After this, a meeting was held there. Thousands of workers participated in the said rally.
In this regard, Raiganj MLA Khageswar Roy said that they have organized the said protest rally and meeting against BJP’s conspiracy to divide Bengal, rise in petrol prices and misuse of central agencies ED and CBI.
During this, Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy, Trinamool Congress Jalpaiguri District President Mahua Gop, Jalpaiguri Zilla Parishad President Uttara Barman, Jalpaiguri Zilla Parishad Vice President Dulal Debnath, Trinamool Congress Rajganj Block President Arindam Banerjee, Rajganj Panchayat Samiti Kaha President Purnima Roy, and others were present.
