Alipurduar, 04th March: The death toll in Delhi’s communal violence is on a rise. In this regard, the Trinamool Congress staged protest rallies in Kalchini, Falakata, Kumargram and other areas of the Alipurduar district.
A protest march commenced from the Hamiltonganj area of the Kalchini block and toured various areas. Later, a Path Sabha was held at the Hamiltonganj bus-stand.
TMC Kalchini Block President Asim Majumder and Kalchini Panchayat Samiti Assistant President Prabhat Mukherjee voiced out their opinions during the Sabha.
