TMC stage ‘gherao’ in front of Dinhata police station demanding the arrest of Union MoS Nisith Pramanik

Cooch Behar, 05th January: Tension prevailed in Cooch Behar as the party members of Trinamool Congress (TMC) staged ‘gherao’ surrounding the Dinhata Police Station demanding the arrest of the Union Minister of State (MoS) for home affairs and the BJP MP of Cooch Behar, Nisith Pramanik.


According to reports, on Friday, the TMC activists and supporters collectively marched from the Dinhata Sanghati Maidan, headed towards the Dinhata police station, and staged ‘gherao’. During the unrest, Minister of North Bengal Development Udayan Guha, District Trinamool President Avijit Dey Bhowmik, Rabindranath Ghosh, Paresh Adhikari, Hiten Barman, and other TMC workers and supporters from various regions of Dinhata Assembly were present.
