Siliguri, 26th April: Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate for Darjeeling Lok Sabha constituency Gopal Lama cast his vote at Margaret School in Pradhan Nagar earlier in the morning.
According to reports, the TMC candidate offered prayers earlier in the morning and then arrived at the polling station. Significantly, he is scheduled to visit various booths in Siliguri. However, he will not be visiting the hills on this day.
Meanwhile, Lama is hopeful about the peaceful conducting of the voting process. He also expressed optimism in winning the elections. As a first-time entrant into politics and a contesting for the Lok Sabha polls, he is anticipating to win by a considerable margin.
