Siliguri, 12 February: As soon as the voting for the Siliguri Municipal Corporation election 2022 commenced, the BJP raised accusations against Trinamool Congress of influencing the voters in Ward No. 02.
The BJP alleged that the Trinamool Congress activists were influencing the voters at the polling booth at Siliguri Vidyasagar Primary School polling booth No. 02. As soon as the news was received, the police reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress candidate Gargi Chatterjee denied the allegations stating that the accusations are completely false and baseless.
