Three miscreants arrested on charges of alleged theft in Siliguri

Siliguri, 30th November: The Pradhan Nagar police station has achieved a significant milestone and apprehended three miscreants on charges of alleged involvement in a theft case in Siliguri. The arrested accused have been identified as Babu Sona Sarkar, Sanjay Mahali, and Umesh Chhetri, residents of Kurseong.


According to reports, on November 27, an incident of theft occurred at a vacant property located in the Babubasa area of Devidanga under the jurisdiction of the Pradhan Nagar police station. The homeowner learned about the theft the following day and filed a formal theft complaint at the Pradhan Nagar police station.

Subsequently, the police began an investigation into the incident and detained the three miscreants from the Narmada Bagan region. On Thursday, the criminals were produced by before the Siliguri court and placed under police remand for a period of three days in order to conduct additional investigation.
