Three injured in a road accident in Kharibari

Kharibari, 27th August: An incident of mishap surfaced from the Kharibari Market where a two-wheeler abruptly lost control and crashed on the road. Following the incident, three occupants of the bike sustained significant injuries.


According to reports, on Saturday night, three individuals were en route from Kharibari to Kamrangaguri on the two-wheeler. However, due to the dilapidated road conditions near Kharibari market, the rider lost control and crashed. After the accident, the locals hurried to their rescue and transported them to the Kharibari Rural Hospital.

Meanwhile, after receiving first aid, the critically injured rider of the bike was shifted to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for further medical care. In this regard, the locals complained that the road’s poor condition was to be held responsible for the mishap.


Upon receiving the news, Kishori Mohan Singh, the Karmadhyaksha of Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad, promptly arrived at the spot along with the authorities from the Kharibari police station. After hearing the complaints of the locals regarding the road, Kishori Mohan Singh assured to look into the matter.
