Jalpaiguri, 26th August: After three consecutive deaths were reported in Jalpaiguri COVID Hospital, North Bengal OSD Dr Susanta Roy alleged negligence of the family behind the deaths.
As per the report, three people died at the said hospital on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, this week. Dr Roy stated that the deceased individuals were diabetic and should have kept their sugar level in control. He furthers claimed that the doctors did not get the required time to treat them properly.
Corona Antigen testing has already started in Jalpaiguri district. A total of 13,920 people have been tested, starting August 12, and out of them 485 have tested positive, said Dr Susanta Roy.
