Three crude bombs recovered from Khola Chand Fapri area in Siliguri

Siliguri, 02nd April: In an alarming incident in the Khola Chand Fapri area under the jurisdiction of the Bhakti Nagar police station in Siliguri, three explosives were recovered causing panic among the residents.


According to reports, the incident occurred amidst the heated political atmosphere surrounding the Lok Sabha elections. Upon receiving information about the bombs, the officials from the Bhakti Nagar police station swiftly responded and surrounded the area.

Subsequently, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Bomb Squad was immediately notified. The CID Bomb Squad arrived promptly and safely defused the bombs on the banks of the Toribari River. Following the recovery of the bombs, the Siliguri Metropolitan Police is on high alert to ensure safety and security.
