Kharibari, 01st April: Sanu Debnath (28), Sourav Kumar Sabkota (33), and Suraj Dahal (42) were arrested along with brown sugar worth lakhs.
It has been learned that Kharibari police arrested three persons near North Ramdhanjote School in Kharibari. Four mobiles and laptops including 50 grams of brown sugar worth Rs 55,000 were recovered from their possession. The market value of the recovered brown sugar is around Rs 5 lakh. Police sources said that the recovered drugs were intended to be smuggled to Nepal.
They were sent to Siliguri sub-divisional court today.
