Rajganj, 22nd September: Sensation prevailed following the theft at the Kali Mandir located at Kutab Gachh village of Sannyasikata Gram Panchayat under Rajganj block.
As per local sources, on Thursday evening, puja was performed in the temple. The following day, upon arriving at the temple, the locals found the lock of the temple gate broken and cash amounting to thousands of rupees kept in the donation box along with the gold and silver ornaments of the goddess missing.
Subsequently, the matter was informed to the Rajganj Police. Currently, police are engaged in an investigation based on the complaint.
