Phansidewa, 19th May: In a significant breakthrough, the Phansidewa police recovered two stolen motorcycles while investigating a two-wheeler theft in the Phansidewa area. The incident led to the arrest of Izarul Haque, a resident of Chopra in Uttar Dinajpur and a member of the notorious motorcycle theft gang.
According to reports, the police conducted a raid in the Chopra area on Saturday night and arrested the accused Izarul Haque with two stolen motorcycles. Police sources revealed that the accused was involved in the operation of stealing bikes and subsequently selling them.
On Sunday, the accused was produced before the Siliguri Sub-Divisional Court. The police are currently on a hunt for the other suspects in connection to the case.
