Naxalbari, 27th January: Sensation ensued in the area of Naxalbari’s Atal Tea Garden when a tea worker was injured after being hit by a tractor in the said area.
The injured has been identified as Kole Lakra. Reportedly, Kole was riding a bicycle when a tractor hit him from behind and injured him. Later, the locals rescued him and took him to the hospital.
On the other hand, the police have taken the truck driver into custody. The incident ensued in a tense atmosphere. However, the situation was brought under control with the intervention of the police.
