Siliguri, 26th January: ‘Amader Udyog’ and Red Cross Society distributed sweets and chocolates among the prisoners of Siliguri Correctional Home on the 73rd Republic Day of India.
Deepak Kumar Sarki, superintendent of Siliguri Correctional Home, highly appreciated the initiative taken and said that due to the pandemic situation, Republic Day was observed in a low-key. Sweets and chocolates were distributed among the inmates on behalf of the voluntary organization.
