Siliguri, 09th February: The Siliguri Municipal Corporation election will be conducted on February 12 for which the star campaigners of all parties are coming forward.
Likewise, Leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly Suvendu Adhikari has been campaigning in support of the BJP candidate since yesterday. Taking a jibe at TMC, he stated that the ‘double engine government’ being claimed by the Trinamool Congress has only empty bogies; as the state government is under 5 lakh 65 thousand debt.
Adhikari further stated that the citizens of Siliguri have both tested and rejected the CPIM and Trinamool Congress. He urged the public to vote in favour of BJP in this municipal election. In support of BJP candidates, Adhikari campaigned fiercely in wards 1, 2, 3, and 47.
