Supporters of Bengal Minister Suvendu Adhikari put up posters in the city

Siliguri, 05th November: Posters bearing the photograph of Suvendu Adhikari with a message “Amra Dadar Anugaami (We are supporters of Dada)” have been put up in different places across Siliguri including Thana More and Hashmi Chowk.

Reportedly, the banners were put up across the city on Wednesday night.

However, the banners neither consist of Trinamool Congress’ party symbol nor indicate any other party, which have triggered a lot of speculation and debate in the political circles of West Bengal.

Recently, Transport Minister Suvendu Adhikari has been the subject of intense discussions among TMC as well as other political parties. While some say that he will leave TMC, others say that he is likely to form a new body. However, Adhikari himself has not clarified his position yet.

In this situation, banners and posters are being put up in different districts of the state by his followers. A few days ago, some TMC leaders from Siliguri went to meet Adhikari.

Meanwhile, the posters have definitely caught the attention of political parties in Bengal. District Trinamool president Ranjan Sarkar said that that there is no problem in putting up banners and posters of a party leader. But, unnecessary assumptions are being created in this concern.
