Coochbehar, 17th October: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a ‘Sunun Chasi Bhai’ programme in Jhinaidanga Harmandir area of Natabari assembly constituency in Cooch Behar.
BJP state general secretary Sayantan Basu, BJP district president Malati Rabha Roy, general secretary Sanjay Chakraborty and other leaders were present during the meeting.
Addressing the gathering, Sayantan Basu explained that with the help of the Centre’s bill, the farmers will get the true value of their crops. Also, the farmers will have the authority to sell their crops directly without a middleman. He further accused the oppositions of misleading the common people regarding the new agriculture bills.
