Siliguri, 16th March: During a press conference at Siliguri Journalists Club on Wednesday, members of the SUCI (C) State Committee said that they will stage Uttarkanya Abhiyan in Siliguri and Nabanna Abhiyan in Kolkata on March 22 in support of multiple demands.
Chandidas Bhattacharya, secretary of SUCI Communist West Bengal State Committee, said that the campaign is against various policies of the Centre and State government. On March 22, they will head towards Uttarkanya from Siliguri’s Baghajatin Park and Nabanna from Hedua Park in Kolkata. In addition, a strike has been called on March 28 and 29 at the request of the Central Trade Union. They urged all to support them in making the strike successful.
